Gerberga Princess of was born in 0945.  Gerberga Princess of's father was Berenger II King of Italy and her mother was Willa Princess of Tuscany.  Her maternal grandmother was Willa Princess of Burgundy. She had a brother and two sisters, named Adalbert Marquis of, Rosela (or Susanna) Princess of and Urracca Princess of.  She was the oldest of the four children.
