Ada of was born in 1146 in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England.  Ada of's father was Henry Earl of Huntingdon , Prince of Scotland and her mother was Ada de Warenne.  Her paternal grandparents were David I "The Saint" King of Scotland and Matilda de Huntingdon; her maternal grandparents were William de Warenne , 2nd Earl of Surrey and Isabel Elizabeth de Vermandois. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William The Lion King of, David Earl of, Aufrica of, Margaret de and Marjory of.  She was the second youngest of the six children.  She died before 1222.
