Ada de was born about 1200 in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England.  Ada de's father was David Earl of Huntingdon and her mother was Maud of Chester.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Earl of Huntingdon , Prince of Scotland and Ada de Warenne; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de Kevelioc , 5th Earl of Chester and Bertrade de Montfort. She had a brother and two sisters, named John le, Isabella and Margaret de.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother named Henry de.  She died after November 2nd, 1241.

‌Ada de and Henry de were married in a religious ceremony before June 7th, 1237.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Henry de, John de, Maud de and Hillary (Hillaria) de.

They had a son named William de.
