Lothair I (Lothar) was born in 0795 in France.  Lothair I (Lothar)'s father was Louis I "The Pious" Holy Roman Emperor and his mother was Ermengarde Princess of Hesbaye. He had a brother and four sisters, named Louis II "the German" King of, Rotrud Matilda Hildegard, Alpaide of the Holy Roman, Adlehaide Princess of and Aelis of. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles II "The Bald" and Gisela.  He died at the age of 60 on September 29th, 0855 in Preum, Rhineland, Germany.  He was buried in St Sauveur.
