Adele of was born about 1050 in Holland.  Adele of's father was Florent (Florens) I Count of Holland and her mother was Gertrude von Saxony. She had a brother and a sister, named Dietrich (Dirk) V Count of West and Bertha of.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had two half-sisters named Adela of and Gertrude of.  She died in 1085.
