Her paternal grandparents were Thurstan De Holand and Miss De Kellet; her maternal grandparents were William De Salmesbury Sir Knight and Avena De Notton. She had a brother and four sisters, named Robert III 1St Lord De, Elizabeth De, Isabel De, Joane and Margaret De. She was the oldest of the six children.-
