Vincent I was born about 1350 in Netherfield, Sussex, England. Vincent I's father was Henry Herbert, of Netherfield and his mother was Parnell Allard. His paternal grandfather was Vncent Herbert, of Netherfield. He was an only child.
They had a son named Vincent II.
