Joan Hapgood 
Joan was born about 1567 in Chute, Wiltshire, England. Joan's father was Thomas Hapgood and her mother was Katherine Annatts. Her paternal grandfather was John Hapgood. She had five brothers named Thomas, Richard, John, Edward and Rowland. She was the third youngest of the six children.
