Henry De was born about 1247 in Of, Thurning, Norfolk, England.  Henry De's father was Roger De (Hales) CALTHORP KNIGHT and his mother was Mrs-Roger De (Hales) CALTHORP.  His paternal grandparents were Walter De CALTHORPE KNIGHT and Mrs-Walter CALTHORPE. He had two brothers and a sister, named William De, Walter De and Ela.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died after 1303.
