Adelaide of was born about 1186 in Guelders, Holland. Adelaide of's father was Otto I Count of Zutphen & Guelders and her mother was Richarde von Wittlesbach. Her paternal grandparents were Henry I Count of Zutphen & Guelders and Agnes von Arnstein; her maternal grandparents were Otto I von Wittlesbach , Duke of Bavaria and Agnes von Loos. She was an only child. She died in 1218.-
