Eve de was born about 1172 in Standlake, Witney, Oxfordshire, England. Eve de's father was John de Grey , of Standlake and her mother was Miss Basset. Her paternal grandparents were Anschetil de Grey , of Thurrock and Matilda (Eva) de Reviers. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Henry de and Agnes. She died in 1242.-
