Anschetil Grey , of Rotherfield 
Anschetil was born about 1067 in Greye-sur-Mer, Normandy, France. Anschetil's father was John de Grai , Lord of Croy and his mother was Adeliza FitzOsbern. He had a brother named Reynald de. He was the younger of the two children. He died after 1086 in Rotherfield, Oxfordshire, England.General Notes
Anschetil, whose origin is to be sought in Greye-sur-mer, had in Oxfordshire at the time of the Domesday Survey a considerable holding, which included Rotherfield. [Complete Peerage VI:150 note]
