Piers 2nd Baron de Grandison , Sir 
Piers 2nd Baron de was born in 1286 in Ashperton, Herefordshire, England. Piers 2nd Baron de's father was William 1st Baron de Grandison , Sir and his mother was Sibyl de Tregoz. His paternal grandparents were Amadeus Sire de Grandison and Beoite de la Tour de Gerenstein. He had two sisters named Mabel de and Katherine de. He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-sister named Agnes de. He died at the age of 72 on August 10th, 1358.General Notes
Peter de Grandison, 2nd baron, summoned to parliament from 23 April, 1337, to 28 March, 1349. This nobleman being implicated in the insurrection of Thomas, Earl of Lancaster, 15th Edward II [1322], was obliged to pay 300 marks fine for his pardon. He was afterwards in the wars of France and attained the rank of banneret. His lordship m. Blanch, one of the daus. of Roger de Mortimer, Earl of March, but had no issue. He d. in 1358, and was s. by his brother, John de Grandison, bishop of Exeter.
