Hildegarde De was born about 1041 in Courtenay, Loiret, France.  Hildegarde De's father was Count Geoffroy II "Ferreol" Gatinais Count and her mother was [Countess] Ermengarde Anjou [Countess].  Her paternal grandparents were Count Geoffroy III De Gatinais Count/Ferreol and Countess Beatrice De Macon Countess; her maternal grandparents were [Count] Foulques III "Le Noir" Anjou [Count]/Nerra and [Countess Of Anjou] Hildegarde Hermengarde De Bougency [Countess Of Anjou]. She had three brothers named Ives (Ivo) De, Geoffroy III "Le Barbu" and Foulques IV "Rechin".  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Hildegarde, Princess Of.  She died about 1060 in (Unknown), Austria-Hungary.
