Christian Settipani in "Counts of Anjou and their alliances X and XI centuries, in Family Trees and the Roots of Politics" names her mother as NN sister of Adalard Bishop of Tours, son of a noble of Orleans, Seigneur d'Amboise who married the great grand dau of Pepin (Carloman) King of Italy & Bavaria who was the son of Charlemagne.
