Helen of was born about 1208 in Carrick, Argyllshire, Scotland.  Helen of's father was Alan of Galloway , Constable of Scotland and her mother was Miss de Lacy.  Her paternal grandparents were Roland Lord of Galloway , Constable of Scotland and Elena de Morville; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de Lacy , 1st Earl of Ulster and Lesceline de Verdun. She had a half-sister named Devorgilla of.  She died after November 21st, 1245 in England.  She was buried in Brackley, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
