Rohese was born in 1034 in Lonqueville, Normandy, France. Rohese's father was 1st Earl Walter "The Elder" Of Buckingham GIFFARD and her mother was Ermentrude Agnes FLAITEL. Her paternal grandfather was Lord Walter DE BOLBEC; her maternal grandparents were Gerard DE FLAITEL and Herleva DE EVEREUX. She had two brothers and a sister, named Walter Of Buckingham, Elias I and Adelaide. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 79 in 1113.General Notes
