Helais II was born in 1072 in Brimsfield, Gloucestershire. Helais II's father was Helias I GIFFARD and his mother was Ala. His paternal grandfather was Osborn GIFFARD. He was an only child. He died at the age of 94 in 1166.General Notes

They had a son and a daughter, named Helais III and Matilda.
