Helen (Elena) Of was born about 1207 in Of, Carrick, Ayrshire, Scotland.  Helen (Elena) Of's father was Alan De GALLOWAY LORD OF GALLOWAY and her mother was lacy. She had two brothers named Thomas and Fergus.  She was the youngest of the three children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Thomas "Of Huntingdon" De, Christian De and Dervorgilla De.  She died after November 21st, 1245 in England.  She was buried in Brackley, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
