Robert I "The Old Duke" was born about 1011 in France.  Robert I "The Old Duke"'s father was Robert II "The Pious" France [King] and his mother was Constance Of Provence [Queen France].  His paternal grandparents were Hugh "Capet" France [King] and Adelaide Of Poitou [Princess]; his maternal grandparents were William II Count Of Arles & Provence and Adelaide (Blanche D' Anjou. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Hugh "The Grand", Henry I Capet King Of, Eudo (Odes), Adelaide Havoise, Adele Princess Of, Constance and Hermengarde D'.  He died on March 21st, 1076 in Fleury-Sur-Ouche, France.  He was buried in St Seine Abbey, Semur.
