Philip III "The Bold" King of was born on April 3rd, 1245 in Poissy, Yvelines, Ile-de-France, France.  Philip III "The Bold" King of's father was Louis IX "St. Louis" King of France and his mother was Margaret of Provence.  His paternal grandparents were Louis VIII "The Lion" King of France and Blanche Princess of Castile; his maternal grandparents were Raymond V Berenger Count of Provence and Beatrice of Savoy. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jean Tristan Prince of, Robert I Prince of, Marguerite Princess of and Agnes Capet Princess of.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 40 on October 5th, 1285 in Perpignan, Pyrenees-Orientales, Languedoc-Roussillon, France.
