Godfrey de was born about 1112 in Tideswell, Yorkshire, England. Godfrey de's father was Ralph de Foleschamp , of Tideswell, Sir and his mother was Gundred de Ferrers. He was an only child. He died in 1184.
They had a son named Henry.
