Matilda Countess of was born about 1031 in Flandres.  Matilda Countess of's father was Baldwin V Count of Flanders and her mother was Comtesse D'Auxerres Adela Alix Capet Princess of France Comtesse D'Auxerres.  Her paternal grandparents were Count, Flanders Baldwin IV de Lille of Flanders Count, Flanders and Ogive (or Otgiva) of Luxemburg; her maternal grandparents were King of France Robert II "The Pious" France King of France and Constance De Taillefer of Toulouse. She had two brothers and a sister, named Baldwin VI Count of, Robert Le Frisson Count of and Judith of.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Avelina.  She died on November 2nd, 1083 in Caen, Normandie.  She was buried in Church of the, Holy Trinity, Caen, France.
