Elisende de was born about 0930 in Flanders, France.  Elisende de's father was ARNULF 1 LE GRAND FLANDERS COUNT ARTOIS and her mother was Alix de Vermandois. She had a brother and two sisters, named Baudouin III Count of, Hildegarde of and LIUTGARD.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had a half-sister named ADELE VON.  She died in 0970.
