Edith was born about 1072 in Greystoke, Cumberland, England.  Edith's father was A Thane Forne Fitzsigulf 1St Lord Of Greystoke A Thane and her mother was Mrs. Alditha (Nmn) Fitzsigulf.  Her paternal grandparents were Sigulf Fitzforn and Mrs. Sigulf Fitz Forne. She had a brother named Ivo Lord Of.  She was the older of the two children.  She died in 1152 in Granted Barony Of Claydon By Henry I.  She was buried in Endowed Oseney Abbey.
