Robert was born about 1075 in Little Easton, Essex, England. Robert's father was Walter FitzOtho Castellan de Windsor and his mother was Beatrice. He had two brothers named William Fitzwalter Castellan de and Gerald of. He was the youngest of the three children. He died in 1128.General Notes
