Joan was born about 1335 in Ravensworth, Yorkshire, England.  Joan's father was Henry FitzHenry , of Ravensworth, Sir Knight and her mother was Joan de Fourneux.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry 1st Baron FitzHugh , of Ravensworth, Sir and Eva de Bulmer; her maternal grandparents were Richard de Fourneux , Sir and Sibil of Nottingham. She had a brother named Henry 2nd Baron.  She was the older of the two children.  She died on September 1st, 1403 in Clerkenwell, London, Middlesex, England.


Joan's first family with William 4th Baron de Greystoke , Sir

‌Joan and William 4th Baron de were married in a religious ceremony in October 1351 in 2nd wife.  They had a son and a daughter, named Ralph de Greystoke and Alice de.
