Constance was born about 1115 in England.  Constance's father was Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England and her mother was Isabel Elizabeth de Beaumont.  Her paternal grandparents were William I "The Conqueror" King of England and Matilda (Maud) of Flanders; her maternal grandparents were Robert I de Beaumont , 1st Earl of Leicester and Isabel Elizabeth de Vermandois. She had six half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Robert de, Henry, Reynold de, William de, Robert, Richard Strongbow de, Maud of, Maud "The Empress" Princess of, Sibylla, Eustacia de, Elizabeth of, Alice of and Matilda of.
