Edith was born in 1074 in Greystoke, Cumberland, England. Edith's father was 1st Lord Of Greystoke Forne FitzSigulf 1st Lord Of Greystoke. Her paternal grandfather was Sigulf FitzForne. She had a brother named Ives. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 78 in 1152.
