Robert was born about 1098 in England.  Robert's father was Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England and his mother was Edith FitzForne. He had a sister named Matilda of. He had four half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Robert de, Henry, Reynold de, William de, Maud of, Maud "The Empress" Princess of, Sibylla, Eustacia de, Elizabeth of, Alice of and Constance.  He died in 1172.
