Ingibiorg was born about 1023 in Yriar, Austratt, Norway. Ingibiorg's father was Finn Arnesson , Jarl of Halland and her mother was Bergliot Thorborg Halfdansdottir. Her maternal grandfather was Halfdan Sigurdsson. She was an only child. She died before 1069 in Scotland.General Notes
He [Thorfinn] m., before 1038, Ingibiorg, dau. of Finn Arnesson (d.p. 1062), of Yriar in Austratt, Lenderman under Norway, later Jarl of Halland under Denmark (circa 1051), by Begliot, dau. of Halfdan Sigurdsson (b. p. 995), brother of King Harald III Hardradi. After Thorfinnís death she m. as his 1st wife (circa 1066) Malcolm III Ceannmor, King of Scots and had issue. Thorfinn had two sons who survived childhood, Paul and Erlend.
