John Field 
John was born in 1616 in Thurnscoe, Yorkshire, England. John's father was William Field and his mother was Jane Sotwell. His paternal grandparents were Sir Rev. John Field and Jane Amyas; his maternal grandfather was Rev. John Stowell. He had three brothers named James, Thomas and William. He died at the age of 70 in 1686 in Providence, Providence, RI.-
