Her paternal grandparents were Girard de FURNIVAl and matilda lovetot; her maternal grandparents were William de FERRERS EARL OF DERBY and Agnes of meschine. She had three brothers and a sister, named Gerald De, Thomas de, Gerard and Eleanor De. She was the oldest of the five children.-
