On the 13 October 1307, early in the morning nearly every Templar in France was arrested on t he charge of Heresy, by order of Philip. He needed money and want the treasure that was hel d by the Templar lodges. He had tried to become a Templar night and was refused membership , thinking that membership would give him power and the keys to the wealth. He will be rememb ered as being mad.
