His maternal grandparents were Raymond Berenger V (IV) Count Of PROVENCE & FORCALQUIER and Beatrice De SAVOY COUNTESS OF SAVOY. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Louis Prince Of, Philippe III King Of, Jean Prince Of, Pierre Prince Of, Robert Of, Blanche Princess Of, Isabelle Princess Of, Blanche Princess Of, Marguerite Of and Agnès Princess Of. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 20 on August 3rd, 1270 in Near, Tunis, Tunisia. He was buried in St Denis, Isle De France, France.General Notes
