hAWISE was born about 1250. HAWISE's father was John FITZALAN EARL OF ARUNDEL and her mother was Maud (Matilda) le BOTILLER (VERDON) COUNTESS OF ARUNDEL. She had a brother named John. She was the younger of the two children.
