Thomas was born in 1558 in England. Thomas' father was Matthew Colby and his mother was 2nd Mary. He was an only child. He died at the age of 67 on December 11th, 1625 in Horbling, Lincolnshire, England. He was buried in Horbling, Lincoln, England.General Notes

Thomas and Beatrix built the mansion Roos Hall in Beccles, England. Intials TC and BC are scratched on leaden water pipes from the roof. They had twelve children and the entire family were constant visitors of King James I.
