Maud "The Empress" Princess of was born in London, Middlesex, England.  Maud "The Empress" Princess of's father was Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England and her mother was Matilda (Edith) Princess of Scotland.  Her paternal grandparents were William I "The Conqueror" King of England and Matilda (Maud) of Flanders. She had five half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Henry, Reynold de, Robert de, William de, Robert, Maud of, Sibylla, Mabel (Eustacia), Elizabeth of, Alice of, Constance and Matilda of.  She died on September 10th, 1167 in Notre Dame, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France.  She was buried in Abbey of Bec, France.
