Matilda of was born in 1086 in England.  Matilda of's father was Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England and her mother was Edith FitzForne.  Her paternal grandparents were William I "The Conqueror" King of England and Matilda (Maud) of Flanders; her maternal grandfather was Forne FitzSigulf 1st Lord of Greystoke , A Thane. She had a brother named Robert. She had five half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Robert de, Henry, Reynold de, William de, Gilbert d', Maud of, Maud "The Empress" Princess of, Sibylla, Eustacia de, Elizabeth of, Alice of, Constance and Edith d'.  She died at the age of 34 on November 25th, 1120 in Drowned in wreck of the White Ship along with Prince William.
