Henry I "Beauclerc" was born in 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place there on August 5th, 1100.  Henry I "Beauclerc"'s father was William I "The Conqueror" King Of England and his mother was Matilda (Maud) Flanders [Queen England].  His paternal grandparents were Robert I "The Magnificent" Duke Of Normandy and Arlette Herleve De Falaise; his maternal grandparents were Baudouin V Count Of Flanders Count Of Flanders and Adele Princess Of France. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named Robert II "Curthose" Duke Of, Richard, William II "Rufus", Gundred-Gundrada Of, Adelaide (Adeliza The Nun) Of, Cecilia, Margaret, Constance Of, Adela Princess Of, Agatha, Anna and Matilda Dau Of William Of.  He died at the age of 67 on December 1st, 1135 in Lyons-La-Foret, Normandy, France.  He was buried on January 4th, 1136 in Reading Abbey, Reading, Berkshire, England.
