Edward "The Confessor" King of was born about 1003 in Islip, Oxfordshire, England.  Edward "The Confessor" King of's father was Aethelred II "The Unready" King of England and his mother was Emma of Normandy.  His paternal grandparents were Edgar I "The Peaceful" King of England and Elfrida Ealdorman; his maternal grandparents were Richard I "The Fearless" Duke of Normandy and Gunnora (Gundra) de Crepon. He had a brother and two sisters, named Edred Prince of, Godgifu Princess of and Goda of.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Edmund II "Ironside" King of, Hardecanute King of Denmark &, Alfgifu (Elgiva) Princess of and Gunhilda Princess of.  He died in London, Middlesex, England (dsp).
