Alice of was born about 1099 in Selby, Yorkshire, England.  Alice of's father was Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England and her mother was Several Mistresses.  Her paternal grandparents were William I "The Conqueror" King of England and Matilda (Maud) of Flanders. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert de, William de, Mabel (Eustacia) and Elizabeth of. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Henry, Reynold de, Robert, Maud of, Maud "The Empress" Princess of, Sibylla, Constance and Matilda of.  She died in 1141 in Montmorency, Val d'Oise, France.
