Alice of was born about 1114 in Selby, Yorkshire, England. Alice of's father was Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England and her mother was Isabel Elizabeth de Beaumont. She had a sister named Constance. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Reynold de, Robert de, Richard Strongbow de and Maud "The Empress" Princess of. Matthew was Constable of France.
