Phillip II Duke of Swabia Holy Roman was born about 1179 in Swabia, Germany.  Phillip II Duke of Swabia Holy Roman's father was Frederick I Barbarossa Holy Roman Emperor and his mother was Beatrice de Macon.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick II von Hohenstauffen , Duke of Swabia and Judith of Bavaria; his maternal grandparents were Raynald III Count de Macon , Count of Burgundy and Agathe de Lorraine. He had a brother named Henry VI Holy Roman.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died on June 21st, 1208 in Murdered by Otto of Wittelsbach in Bamberg, Germany.
