Elena La was born in 1288 in Ashby, Leicestershire, England. Elena La's father was Alan La Zouche Lord Of Ashby and her mother was Eleanor De Segrave. Her paternal grandparents were Roger Baron La Zouche Sir Knight and Ela De Longespee; her maternal grandparents were Sir Nicholas 1St Baron De Segrave and Maud De Lucy [Baroness Segrave]. She had four sisters named Maud La, Mary La, Elisabeth La and Miss La. She was the oldest of the five children. She died after October 1334.General Notes
