Richard Of was born in Winchester, Hampshire, England.  Richard Of's father was John "Lackland" King Of ENGLAND and his mother was Isabella De TAILLEFER.  His paternal grandparents were Henry II Of ENGLAND King and Eleanor Of AQUITAINE; his maternal grandparents were Aymer De TAILLEFER COUNT OF ANGOULEME/COUNT OF ANGOULEME and Alice de COURTENAY. He had a brother and three sisters, named Henry III King Of, Joane Princess Of, Isabel Princess Of and Eleanor Princess Of. He had seven half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Henry, Richard, Hugh XI De, Guy De, Guillaume de, Aymer Ademar De, Geoffrey De, Joan Princess Of, Isabella De, Marguerite De, Agatha Agnes De, Alice and Mary.  He died on April 2nd, 1272 in Berkhampsted, Berkhampsted, Hertfordshire, England.  He was buried on April 13th, 1272 in Hailes Abbey, Hailes, Gloucestershire, England.
