Irene Ducas 
Irene was born about 1065 in Byzantine Empire. Irene's father was Andronicus Ducas and her mother was Maria of Bulgaria. She had a brother named Michael. She was the younger of the two children.
Irene and Alexius I Comnenus Emperor of Byzantine were married in a religious ceremony about 1078. They had two sons and a daughter, named John II Comnenus Emperor of Byzantine, Isaac and Theodora.
