Dreux (Drogo) Comte was born about 0990 in Vexin, Normandy, France. Dreux (Drogo) Comte's father was Count of Amiens Gautier (Walter) II "the White" Comte de Vexin Count of Amiens and his mother was Adele De Senlis. His paternal grandparents were Count of Amiens Gautier I Comte De Vexin Count of Amiens and Adele De Dreux; his maternal grandfather was Bormard De Senlis. He had a brother and a sister, named Raoul II Comte and Alix. He was the youngest of the three children. He died on July 1st, 1035 in Bithynia, Asia Minor. He was buried in Nice, France.General Notes
