Walter De Gaunt

Walter was born about 1092 in Folkingham, Lincolnshire, England. Walter's father was Lord Of Folkingham Gilbert Comte De Gand Lord Of Folkingham and his mother was Alice Comtesse De Montfort. His paternal grandparents were Ralph II Comte De Gand and Gisele of Luxembourg; his maternal grandparents were Hugh II Seigneur De Montfort and Alice De Beauffou. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Hugh IV, Walter, Felia, Emma and Agnes. He was the youngest of the six children. He died in 1139.
