Hildegard Comtesse was born in 0937 in Gand, Flandre-Oriental, Belgium.  Hildegard Comtesse's father was Arnoul I Count of Flanders and her mother was Adaele Comtesse De Vermandois. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Baudouin III Count of, Gottfried 'The Captive' Count of, Maud Of, Ledgarde and Elstrude of.  She died at the age of 53 on April 10th, 0990.
